Chapterly is set up to make writing your book easy with a user-friendly and intuitive process.

How to Edit the Manuscript

You can add your own custom structure to books by using our organization tools. Manuscripts can contain folders, subfolders, notes, and dashboards to help structure your narrative in any way that you want. There is also a convenient drag-and-drop option so you can stitch scenes or folders of scenes together any way you like as you customize your manuscript workspace.

To edit the manuscript, click the drop-down arrow next to your new book in the left navigation panel. If the Content is not visible, click on the dropdown arrow next to “CONTENT” which will reveal the following options: Characters, Locations, Manuscript.” To edit the Manuscript, click on the drop-down arrow next to the Manuscript. This will show the Body folder in the document tree. If the body folder contents are not visible, click on the dropdown arrow next to it to reveal the content.
