Your profile can be accessed from the dropdown menu in the top right corner, where your name is displayed. You can edit and share your profile with the two buttons on the right side of the profile screen. On the public view, those buttons will be replaced with options to Message and Subscribe.
Dashboard
The left module displays your identifying information, which can be updated as often as you like.
Handle - This will be part of your Chapterly profile link, so choose wisely and try not to change it too often, since it will negate any link you've posted previously.
Display Name - This will appear on your posts and beneath your profile image. Feel free to use a pen name, if preferred.
Short Bio - A brief line of text that will be displayed beneath your name on the profile page.
About - Use this space to give your audience a bit of background on you and your writing.
Location - This does not need to be your true location.
Questions and Answers - This section can be whatever you make it. We recommend using this feature to make your own personal Help Center. You can answer anticipated reader questions, provide contact information, and so on.
On the right side of your dashboard you'll see your tiers (if you've created any) and your post history. Please remember that while you can see everything, what the reader sees will depend on their subscription level. Placeholder images are shown for posts that cannot be viewed without subscription or upgrade.
Goals - This information does not show on the public view. You can update your writing goal on your Writing Studio dashboard.
Tiers
This is a detailed listing of your subscription tiers. Learn more about creating and managing tiers.
Stories
Published - This tab will show any story you've shared with your readers, even if it's not yet finished. You can access each story's profile from this screen.
Work-in-Progress - This section is only visible to you and will show all of the books in your Writing Studio library.
Bookshelf
This section is also visible only to you. We recognize that the best writers are also voracious readers, so we've given you a Bookshelf to keep the stories you've purchased from your fellow authors on Chapterly.
