Chapterly features a standard edit navigation bar at the top of every book page that has intuitive features that you would normally see in any document editing program. The navigation bar at the top also has the following features: Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Subscript, Superscript, Numbered List, Bullets, Text Alignment, Add Image, and Drop Cap. When you highlight a segment of text you can apply any of the text options listed above. The text is automatically saved after it is edited.

When you wish to edit text, first select the text you want to edit. Then you have the option to click on the first icon that shows “Body” on the dropdown menu. Click the Body dropdown menu and then select the type of text you want to be displayed. You will see the following template options: Header 1, Header 2, Header 3, Body, and Quote. Select the desired template formatting for the highlighted text.

If you want to turn the spelling and grammar editor on or off, you can do so by clicking on the ellipse {...} icon at the top right-hand corner of the page. The editor can be toggled on and off from there.

Happy Writing!
