We're so honored that you've chosen to share your creative work on Chapterly! If you have any questions or concerns not addressed by this article or elsewhere in our help center, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support staff. We'll do our best to make your Chapterly experience a great one!

If you're utilizing our Audience platform to share content with your followers, there are several things that will fall solely under your discretion.

Supporting Your Readers

Your relationship with your followers is your responsibility and yours alone. Our support staff is here to help with technical questions and offer guidance on using the site, but for anything related to an individual reader’s billing or subscription concerns, they will come to you. You'll be the only one with (limited) access to their billing information, so you’re in the driver’s seat!

Failure to respond promptly to billing-related requests from your followers may result in the closure of your Chapterly account.

You also have a responsibility to deliver what you've promised. If you're not confident in your ability to provide a steady stream of content your established schedule, we don't recommend using the Subscription Tier option. Instead, you can sell completed stories or shorter portions/episodes as a single purchase. Learn more about how to monetize your content.

Knowing and Following Our Terms and Content Policy

We know it's easy to skip or overlook these warnings, but if you're found to be in violation of our policies, we reserve the right to remove you and your content from Chapterly. You do yourself and your readers a disservice by choosing to be uninformed.

Understanding and Respecting Copyright Laws

When it comes to profiting from creative work, such as books, stories, images, art, or music, it's vital to know where the boundaries lie. And when AI tools are thrown into the mix, it can get even more complicated.

It's your responsibility as an author (at Chapterly and elsewhere) to avoid infringing on someone else's copyrights. You can learn a bit more here, but if you're feeling confused about what's permissible and what isn't, we urge you to research and educate yourself on the matter.
