To Upgrade

You can upgrade a subscription through the author’s Chapterly profile or through any post that is locked due to subscription level.

On a locked post, you’ll see a button prompting you to upgrade. Clicking it will direct you to a payment/confirmation screen.

On an author’s profile page, you can view their subscription tiers at the top of the main feed or in the second heading below their name and image. Select the preferred tier, and you’ll be directed to a payment screen where you can enter your payment information. Depending on your cookie settings, the payment information may be preloaded from your last purchase. Once the subscription is confirmed, you’ll be directed back to the author’s profile page.

To Downgrade

You can downgrade a subscription by cancelling your current one and starting a new subscription at the tier level you prefer.

To cancel, head to your User Settings from the dropdown menu in the top right corner. Under Your Subscriptions, you’ll see a listing of every author you’re subscribed to and the level of each subscription. There will be a link to Unsubscribe on each entry.

Please be aware that, by default, all cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing cycle. You won’t be billed again, but neither will you be refunded for the remainder of the month. If you start a new subscription at the same time, your remaining funds should be counted toward the new subscription.
